Meet Zoe! Zoe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who works with children, adolescents, and young adults through both in-person and online appointments. Zoe believes therapy is most meaningful when clients leave with skills they can continue using long after their time in therapy has ended. She works with clients who are navigating intense emotions, distressing thoughts, impulsivity, and difficulty grounding themselves during times of distress or heightened emotions. Her goal is to help clients build practical skills that enhance their ability to manage challenges and function more confidently in all areas of life.
Zoe takes a strengths-based approach to therapy, keeping each client’s individual goals and needs at the forefront of treatment. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring interventions to the concerns and strengths of each client.
She is especially passionate about mindfulness and relaxation techniques as tools for helping clients calm both the mind and body. Zoe helps clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and reactions while learning practical strategies to respond to difficult moments in healthier and more intentional ways.
Clients working with Zoe can expect structured sessions within a welcoming and collaborative environment. She brings a sense of humor and curiosity to her work and believes therapy can be both purposeful and approachable. Zoe is particularly well-suited for children, adolescents, and young adults who are looking to strengthen their ability to regulate emotions, ground themselves, manage impulsivity, and develop skills they can carry with them into everyday life.
