Catherine Kendrick, PLPC

All about Cathy!

Cathy is is a (Provisional) Licensed Professional Counselor, supervised by Rhonda Bethmann. Cathy enjoys working with clients of all ages.  With adults, she enjoys supporting adults who struggle with anxiety, depression and relationship challenges. She helps them understand their emotions and find effective ways to alleviate those tough feelings and feel better again. 

With children & families she has been trained in DDP, Dyadic developmental psychotherapy which is an attachment-focused therapy.  Cathy works with children who struggle with big emotions or maladaptive behaviors.  She helps clients cope with difficult transitions in life.   Additionally, Cathy is currently enrolled in TAC (Training for Adoption Competency) – a 12 month, evidenced based certification program which will help her provide competent services for all 3 sides of adoption whether you are coming to her from the perspective of the biological family member, the adoptive parents or the adoptee.

Eileen is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused CBT), CPT (Cognitive Processing
Therapy for treatment in trauma), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Bherapy) and DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) which is an attachment-focused therapy. Eileen has also completed additional training in pregnancy and infant loss through the national Share organization.  She is also available to offer supervised visits for families in need.

Kate is a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Trained and EFT Informed. She enjoys working with adults 18 and older. Kate’s training in Emotionally Focused Therapy helps her when working with couples who struggle with connection and communication.  She is able to help them understand and express themselves more clearly in order to build a secure attachment or bond with their partner.  Additionally, Kate also has 5 years expereince in a rehab facility which is beneficial when working with clients who have have addictions or know a loved one who struggles with addiction.

Brook is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor and School Psychological Examiner.  HEr first career was as an early childhood and Elementary Educator. The trainings Brook has completed include Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CCRT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Level 1 & 2, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR, Filial Therapy, Neuroscience, Sandtray Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CB) and Trust Based Relational Intervention 101 (TBRI).  She has extensively studied the topics of attachment, play therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, mindfulness, parenting and Polyvagal Theory.  Brook enjoys working with children, adolescents and their families.
